Besides photographing rehearsals and performances, I like to photograph dancers in a studio setting. From simple audition photos, in standard poses, to more dramatic movement shots, I can provide an experienced dancer's eye to give you a portfolio that is beneficial to you whether it is for an audition or for a keepsake. The session itself can be educational to you as a dancer. Besides photographing dancers for over 30 years. I teach ballet at several schools in the Hartford area, including the Greater Hartford Academy for the Arts.

Having danced professional for 9 years with the Hartford Ballet and performing many principal roles, my experience helps me to give you images which are technically correct and also artistic and dramatic.

I have worked as a photographer from 1983 until the present. After working at the Hartford Courant as a freelancer in 1983, I worked as an assistant to Jack McConnell, a commercial photographer in Wethersfield, Ct. In 1985, I ventured into the Hartford market as a freelance photographer and have enjoyed servicing clients ever since.

I enjoy a mix of clients from both the corporate world and the world of theatre and dance. My clients have included St. Joseph College, Conway Stoughton, Saxe Doernberger & Vita , Eastern Connecticut. Ballet, New Haven Ballet, Ballet Theatre Company, Greater Hartford Academy for the Arts, and Hartt College Dance Department.

I service corporate clients here in the New England area, including law firms, educational institutions, as well as non-profits. Whether it is an annual report or an in-house newsletter, I can come to your location and capture the images which say what you want about your business. Being able to travel to your location and still maintain a high level of lighting and composition saves time and money for your employees and your design team.
